These days many manufactured components require text (part numbers, labels, specifications, Logos, Etc.) to be engraved directly into the part. Using outside services to engrave parts has become an expensive proposition. Uses WINDOWS “True-Type” technology for a virtually unlimited number of smooth scaleable fonts. Thousands of low cost fonts are available.
Font curves can be generated as a series of linear moves, or optimized with fitted tangent arcs for the shortest possible NC-Code file size.
Variable text height, width & spacing. Left, Right, Center justified, or fit text between points.
The text may be in a straight line, or rotated at any angle.
The text may be placed around an arc, mirrored, vertical, or follow a free form curve.
Generates DXF format files for use with virtually all popular CAD/CAM systems. Built in code generator for direct creation of standard NC-CODES (G00/G01/G02/G03).
Built in text editor, for entering / editing files up to 32K in length.
